About this policy
This policy explains how personal information is collected, used, disclosed and protected through this website (mokamedical.ca), in accordance with British Columbia’s Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA). It applies only to this website.
This website is not for health information
This website is not intended for collecting personal health information. Please do not send health information, symptoms or questions about personal medical care through this website, by email or by social media, as these channels are not secure.

It is not collected or stored by this website.
The online booking system, intake form and clinic website linked from this website are operated by third parties. Their own privacy policies apply when they are used.
Information this website collects
- Technical information. The website’s hosting provider and Cloudflare (a security and content delivery service) automatically process information such as IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, the date and time of a visit and the referring website. This information is used to deliver the website, keep it secure and fix problems.
- Website analytics. This website uses Google Analytics to understand, in aggregate, how visitors use the site, such as which pages are viewed, the type of device used, approximate location (city level) and how visitors arrived. Google Analytics uses cookies and similar identifiers. Analytics data is not used to identify individual visitors or for advertising.
- Cookies. Cookies are small files stored by a web browser. This website uses cookies for security (Cloudflare), to remember a visitor’s language choice, to sign in site administrators, and for analytics (Google Analytics).
- Information visitors choose to provide. If someone contacts Moka Medical about this website, for example with a privacy request, the information provided is used only to respond.
Choices about cookies and analytics
Cookies can be blocked or deleted through browser settings, and the website will continue to work. Google Analytics can also be turned off with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
How information is used and shared
Personal information collected through this website is used only for the purposes described in this policy. By using this website, visitors consent to these purposes. Personal information is not sold, rented or traded, and is not used for marketing.
It is shared only with service providers that host, secure or measure the website (such as the hosting provider, Cloudflare and Google), or where required or authorized by law.
Storage outside Canada
Some service providers store or process information outside Canada, including in the United States. Information stored outside Canada is subject to the laws of that country, which may permit access by its authorities.
Safeguards and retention
Moka Medical uses reasonable security arrangements to protect personal information, including encrypted connections, restricted administrator access and security services. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure.
Personal information is kept only as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy, and is then deleted or made anonymous.
